Rachel grew up in upstate New York, where she attended the University of Albany (SUNY). After graduating with a Bachelors (BA) in Psychology, she moved to Scotland to pursue her Masters (MSc) in Animal Behavior and Welfare at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Scotland.

Rachel brings some amazing veterinary experience from her previous positons in both small animal and zoo settings and is an ambassador for our pets and their people. Rachel feels passionately about being part of a team that fosters continuous learning opportunities and finds fulfilment in witnessing the positive change we can make in an animal’s health and well-being.

Rachel and her husband, Enrico, recently relocated to Colorado, where she is able to enjoy to the fullest some of her favorite things –such as exploring, hiking, horseback riding and skiing. At home Rachel’s house is ruled by her two kitties, Monster, a two-year-old DSH, and Einstein, an eight-month-old Maine Coon mix.
