Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology (RMVC) has been providing comprehensive, collaborative cardiac care to patients in Colorado since 2005. We use non-invasive tests and work in partnership with family veterinarians to plan tailored treatment strategies for all our cardiology patients. We are committed to providing the highest level of compassionate care to our patients, their families and family veterinarians.

When choosing a veterinary cardiologist, it’s important to work with a team that you trust and that shares your same values. Here are the values that we hold closest to our hearts:

Excellence

We provide exceptional patient care, outstanding client experiences, and collaborative partnerships with our family veterinarians.  We go above and beyond in all aspects of our roles and responsibilities.

Compassion

We approach everything we do from the heart.  Patients are always handled gently, and we demonstrate patience and empathy in all relationships.

Integrity

Honesty and the highest ethical standards guide all aspects of our practice.

Approachability

Our relationships with family veterinarians are based on mutual respect, and depend on collaboration that encourages open dialogue and a high level of availability.

Team Work

Our team is passionate about what RMVC brings to veterinary medicine. Combining individual strengths, we create an environment that is fun and respectful, and promotes mentorship, learning, flexibility and outreach.

Our offices are conveniently located at both the Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC) in Denver as well as Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty + Emergency Center (AVSEC) in Boulder.  Both state-of-the-art facilities provide a warm and welcoming environment for pets and their guardians. You can also schedule an appointment to see a cardiologist at one of our partner facilities in Colorado Springs, Parker, Longmont, and Basalt.

RMVC’s expert staff will help direct you to the location that is most appropriate for you and your pet.  All urgent/emergent cases will be seen immediately to avoid further complications that could ensue by delaying the visit.

RMVC strives to provide the most comprehensive care.  Our team of cardiologists works together in the diagnosis and treatment of our most difficult cases.  We pride ourselves in our care and compassion for our patients and their guardians, as well as our ability to work with your family veterinarian in the management of patients with cardiac disease.
